The central board
of Secondary Education, New Delhi conducts
the All India Entrance(PMT) Test. Its syllabus
is the same as the C. B. S. C. courses.

are allotted to candidates sent through
the All India Entrance examination from
Delhi.

All
students who have passed Std. XII with Science
subjects or who are going to appear in the
Higher Secondary examination of any board
with Science subjects in the current year
are eligible to apply for the All India
(PMT) entrance test.
Advertisements about
the Test appear in all the leading English
News papers sometime in November or December.
The application forms for the same can be
bought from selected branches of Canara
Bank in all the big cities of Gujarat.
The filled out application
forms are to be sent directly to Delhi.
The test is conducted
in April in major cities all over India.
In Gujarat it is usually conducted at Ahmedabad
and Baroda .

In case any All
India seats remain vacant, the information
about them is sent to Delhi and they send
more students in the second round of counseling.
If any seats are still unfilled by September
30th of the admission year, they
are filled up by Gujarat candidates according
to merit.

If any additional
seats are sanctioned or vacant after the
admissions are over Reshuffling is done
strictly according to merit in each category
before October 31st.
The additional seats
are distributed according to allotted proportion
for each category and they are offered to
candidates who are next on merit in the
concerned category. All the information
about the additional seats in each college
and category as well as the time table for
the interview is published in all the leading
English and Gujarati News papers well in
advance. The interview programme is also
displayed on the notice boards of all the
colleges for information of the concerned
students. Announcements are also made to
the students by the Deans of the respective
colleges.

Students admitted
to MBBS/BDS courses have to submit a bond
for Rs. 75,000/- to the Government. They
are required to serve in Government hospitals
in rural areas for a period of three years
including one year in a Tribal area on such
remuneration as prescribed by the Government,
failing which they have to pay a sum of
Rs. 75,000/- to the Government. There is
no bond for Physiotherapy students.

Yes, Bank guarantee
or cash payment is acceptable in place of
the bond.
|

All colleges have
hostel facilities.
Hostel accommodation
is provided according to merit.
All students(Males &
Females) admitted in first year can avail
of the hostel facility.

rooms are still available, they are given
to local candidates too.

Hostel fee in Govt.
Colleges is Rs. 66/- per term(6 months)

candidates who get scholarship from the
Government get their food bill paid by the
Government.

If a forged Certificate
is presented at the time of admission, the
admission of that candidate is cancelled.

According to rules
change of college is not allowed, once admission
of a candidate is finalized.
If there are any additional
seats sanctioned after the admission and
reshuffling is done by the admission committee,
change of branch or college is possible
strictly on the basis of merit/preference.

Admission on N.R.I.
seats are given by the management of the
concerned institutions. The admission forms
are also sold and received by them. First
preference is given to children of Indians
settled abroad who can pay the fees in US
Dollars. If any seats remain vacant after
admission of such N.R.I. students is over,
Indian students who can pay and equivalent
amount in Indian Rupees as fees are considered
for admission according to merit.
