The Institute
established in 1968 has come a long way in eye
care services. It is affiliated to the B. J.
Medical college, Ahmedabad & Gujarat
University. It admits 12 Degree M.S.
Ophthalmology & 6 Diploma Post Graduate
students every year. It has a inpatient
capacity of 250 Beds – 230 Free & 20 Special. |

Eye Care: Out patient department
provides initial diagnostic and treatment
facilities for all minor eye-ailments like
infections, vitamin A deficiencies disorders,
simple eye injuries and common refractive
errors & also screens cases that need
further diagnostic and corrective procedures
including surgeries.

mobile van with all diagnostic, treatment

centres located in identified rural areas.
